Coot in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own coot package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Coot should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

Everything runs on the device's own processor, with no GPU compute, and instruments attached over USB are not visible to Linux apps. More about science apps in Breadstick.

About Coot

From Debian's package description

This is a program for constructing atomic models of macromolecules from x-ray diffraction data. Coot displays electron density maps and molecular models and allows model manipulations such as idealization, refinement, manual rotation/translation, rigid-body fitting, ligand search, solvation, mutations, rotamers. Validation tools such as Ramachandran and geometry plots are available to the user. This package provides a Coot build with embedded Python support.
