Eiciel in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own eiciel package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Eiciel should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

There is no systemd, and the kernel, disks and network hardware belong to Android, so tools that work with files and processes behave as usual and tools that manage services or drivers have nothing to act on. More about system tools in Breadstick.

About Eiciel

From the project's description

Eiciel is a standalone tool and a Nautilus plugin to graphically edit Access Control Lists (ACL) of your files. ACLs allow to set more fine-grained permissions than the traditional Unix permissions of user, group, other (UGO permissions).

Eiciel also allows to edit the extended attributes of files and directories if the filesystem supports it.

Not all filesystems support ACLs and extended attributes. And even for those supporting them, they must be enabled (by the system administrator) before using Eiciel.

From the project's AppStream metadata in Debian's eiciel package, under CC0-1.0.
