Paperwork in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own paperwork-gtk package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Paperwork should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

With Device files granted, a document saved in your Linux Documents or Downloads folder is in Android's folder too, where Android apps can open it. More about office apps in Breadstick.

About Paperwork

From the project's description

Sorting documents is a machine's job. Paperwork is an easy-to-use application which allows you to find in all your documents when you need them. Type a few keywords in the search bar and the list of papers will shrink to only the relevant content.

This is where the magic happens: Paperwork uses automatically optical character recognition (OCR) to convert your papers into searchable documents.

Main features are:

  • Scanner support
  • PDF support
  • Automatic detection of page orientation
  • OCR
  • Document labels
  • Automatic guessing of the labels to apply on new documents
  • Search
  • Keyword suggestions
  • Quick edit of scans
