Terraintool in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own terraintool package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Terraintool should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

Everything runs on the device's own processor, with no GPU compute, and instruments attached over USB are not visible to Linux apps. More about science apps in Breadstick.

About Terraintool

From Debian's package description

This tool generates terrain meshes for cave survey tools from online terrain altitude datasets. It uses the NASA NASADEM dataset (Reprocessed SRTM data with the voids removed using ASTER data). Automatic download is no longer possible, so an account must be created and required tiles downloaded for the program to use. The relevant areas are excerpted, geolocated to the desired co-ordinate system, resampled to a mesh grid, an offset to local grid added if required, the result displayed, and saved in survex (.svx), therion (.th), or csv format. It is written in java.

From Debian's description of the terraintool package, under that package's license. The project text Debian publishes for this app could not be traced to a file in the package, so its license is unknown. Debian's description is shown instead.
