Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard: a MIDI events generator and receiver

Audio and Video

Not tested on a device yet. What that means

VMPK in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own vmpk package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so VMPK should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

Sound plays through the device's own audio output, and video is decoded in software, so large or high frame rate files can struggle on slower devices. More about audio and video apps in Breadstick.

About VMPK

From the project's description

Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard is a MIDI events generator and receiver. It doesn't produce any sound by itself, but can be used to drive a MIDI synthesizer (either hardware or software, internal or external). You can use the computer's keyboard to play MIDI notes, and also the mouse. You can use the Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard to display the played MIDI notes from another instrument or MIDI file player.

From the project's AppStream metadata in Debian's vmpk package, under CC0-1.0.
