xgterm (xgterm)

X11 Terminal emulator to work with IRAF

Science

Not tested on a device yet. What that means

xgterm (xgterm) in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own xgterm package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so xgterm (xgterm) should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

Everything runs on the device's own processor, with no GPU compute, and instruments attached over USB are not visible to Linux apps. More about science apps in Breadstick.

About xgterm (xgterm)

From the project's description

XGterm provides a Tek 4012 compatible graphics terminal emulation for IRAF, plus a datastream driven widget server capability using the Object Manager to provide full access to the underlying toolkit and widget set. The Gterm graphics window operates almost identically to the xterm Tek window, however there are extensions for implementing full-screen cursors, imaging, area fills, colors, graphics erasure, a "status line" and so on.

From the project's AppStream metadata in Debian's xgterm package, under MIT.
