Chromium Web Browser in Breadstick
Breadstick note
Breadstick starts Chromium without its sandbox, which needs Linux features Android does not give apps, and with GPU acceleration off, so it draws in software. Chosen as Breadstick's browser, it also gets the sign-in pages other Linux apps open, so those logins can return to the app, and it keeps passwords in its own basic store. Each of its processes counts toward the limit Android puts on apps.
Breadstick runs Debian's own chromium package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Chromium Web Browser should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.
Linux apps use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. More about internet apps in Breadstick.
