Linux internet apps for Android and Samsung DeX

Web browsers, email, chat, file transfer, remote desktop clients and network tools. 191 internet apps in the catalog: 151 desktop apps, most used first; 39 terminal and command line programs, by what they are for; and Google Chrome, from its maker.

Linux internet apps in Breadstick

Linux apps use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. A web link clicked in a Linux app opens in your Android browser, except sign-in pages, which open in the Linux browser so the result can reach the app that asked. A browser with many tabs or extensions starts many processes, which counts against the limit Android puts on apps. More in the docs: Files and clipboard: opening links and files.

Tested on a device: iproute2, ping (iputils), traceroute and Nmap.

From their makers

Not in Debian: Breadstick's Recommended apps screen sets these up from their makers' own signed repositories.
