Limits in Breadstick
Glances shows memory, load and processes, but its CPU, network and uptime panels stay empty, because Android does not let apps read /proc/stat or /proc/net/dev.
Glances in Breadstick
Breadstick runs Debian's own glances package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Glances should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is an interactive program that runs inside a terminal rather than in a window of its own: in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.
Commands in the package
glances
A system monitor here sees only the processes of Breadstick's own Linux system, because Android does not let one app see the processes of others. Android also keeps the whole device's counters from apps: on the phone we tested, Android 17 refused /proc/stat, /proc/loadavg, /proc/uptime, /proc/vmstat and /proc/net/dev, while /proc/meminfo and /proc/cpuinfo stayed readable. Monitors that stop without those counters are left out of this catalog, and the one listed leaves those panels empty. More in the docs: The Terminal.
