iptux in Breadstick
Breadstick runs Debian's own iptux package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so iptux should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.
Linux apps use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. More about internet apps in Breadstick.
About iptux
From the project's description
iptux is an “IP Messenger” client. The features of iptux include:
- auto-detect other clients on the intranet.
- send/recv messages to other clients.
- send/recv files to other clients.
- share your files to other cliens (with optional password protection).
It is (supposedly) compatible with 飞鸽传书 (Feige) and 飞秋 (FeiQ) from China, and with the original “IP Messenger” clients from Japan, including g2ipmsg and xipmsg in Debian.
From the project's AppStream metadata in Debian's iptux package, under CC0-1.0.
