MDFinder in Breadstick
Breadstick runs Debian's own mdfinder.app package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so MDFinder should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.
There is no systemd, and the kernel, disks and network hardware belong to Android, so tools that work with files and processes behave as usual and tools that manage services or drivers have nothing to act on. More about system tools in Breadstick.
About MDFinder
From Debian's package description
MDFinder is a an application to search items already indexed by the GWMetadata indexing system, a GNUstep implementation of MacOS X's proprietary Spotlight. Searches can be saved and are automatically updated if the corresponding files change. Indexing is done in the background and is switched off by default. To enable it and configure the search path, use the dedicated module in the SystemPreferences application.
