Geographic objects support for PostgreSQL 17 -- SQL scripts
UnsupportedCommand lineUtilities
Unsupported
The PostgreSQL server, and the extensions that run inside it, needs a System V shared memory segment even when set to use mmap, and Android refuses it (initdb fails on a device, with and without Breadstick's shared-memory library).

About postgresql-17-postgis-3-scripts
From Debian's package description
PostGIS adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL object-relational database. In effect, PostGIS "spatially enables" the PostgreSQL server, allowing it to be used as a backend spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS), much like ESRI's SDE or Oracle's Spatial extension. PostGIS follows the OpenGIS "Simple Features Specification for SQL".
This package contains the SQL scripts for installing PostGIS in a PostgreSQL 17 database, and for upgrading from earlier PostGIS versions.
