Revolt in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own revolt package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Revolt should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

Linux apps use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. More about internet apps in Breadstick.

About Revolt

From Debian's package description

Revolt is a small application which wraps the Element webapp to provide better integration with desktop environments in general, and GNOME in particular:

* Having Element as a "standalone" application with its own window, launcher, icon, etc. instead of it living in a browser tab. * Persistent notifications (for desktop environments supporting them, i.e. GNOME). Notifications are automatically prevented when the Revolt window is focused. * Status icon for desktop environment which have a tray bar applet (XFCE, Budgie, likely many others).

Element is a chat client for Matrix, an open, federated communications protocol.
