Terminator in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own terminator package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Terminator should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.

There is no systemd, and the kernel, disks and network hardware belong to Android, so tools that work with files and processes behave as usual and tools that manage services or drivers have nothing to act on. More about system tools in Breadstick.

About Terminator

From the project's description

The robot future of terminals

A power-user tool for arranging terminals. It is inspired by programs such as gnome-multi-term, quadkonsole, etc. in that the main focus is arranging terminals in grids (tabs is the most common default method, which Terminator also supports).

Much of the behavior of Terminator is based on GNOME Terminal, and we are adding more features from that as time goes by, but we also want to extend out in different directions with useful features for sysadmins and other users.

Some highlights:

  • Arrange terminals in a grid
  • Tabs
  • Drag and drop re-ordering of terminals
  • Lots of keyboard shortcuts
  • Save multiple layouts and profiles via GUI preferences editor
  • Simultaneous typing to arbitrary groups of terminals

And lots more...
