csvkit in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own csvkit package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so csvkit should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.

Commands in the package

  • csvlook
  • csvcut
  • csvgrep
  • csvclean
  • csvformat
  • csvjoin
  • csvjson
  • csvpy
  • csvsort
  • csvsql
  • csvstack
  • csvstat
  • in2csv
  • sql2csv

Type one in Breadstick's Terminal to run it.

Text and data tools work on files and pipes in the Terminal as on any Linux system, including files in your Android folders once Device files is granted. More in the docs: The Terminal.

About csvkit

From Debian's package description

csvkit is a suite of command-line tools for converting to and working with CSV, the king of tabular file formats.

It is inspired by pdftk, gdal and the original csvcut tool by Joe Germuska and Aaron Bycoffe.

If you need to do more complex data analysis than csvkit can handle, use agate.

This package provides the command-line tools.
