miller in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own miller package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so miller should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.

Commands in the package

  • mlr

Type it in Breadstick's Terminal to start the program.

Text and data tools work on files and pipes in the Terminal as on any Linux system, including files in your Android folders once Device files is granted. More in the docs: The Terminal.

About miller

From Debian's package description

Miller (mlr) allows name-indexed data such as CSV files to be processed with functions equivalent to sed, awk, cut, join, sort etc. It can convert between formats, preserves headers when sorting or reversing, and streams data where possible so its memory requirements stay small. It works well with pipes and can feed "tail -f".

From Debian's description of the miller package, under that package's license.
