toilet in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own toilet package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so toilet should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.

Commands in the package

  • toilet
  • figlet-toilet

Type one in Breadstick's Terminal to run it.

Terminal toys run in Breadstick's Terminal as on any Linux system. More in the docs: The Terminal.

About toilet

From Debian's package description

TOIlet prints text using large characters made of smaller characters. It is similar in many ways to FIGlet with additional features such as Unicode handling, colour fonts, filters and various export formats.

TOIlet can open FIGlet fonts and is mostly commandline-compatible with it.

From Debian's description of the toilet package, under that package's license.
