Xastir in Breadstick
Breadstick runs Debian's own xastir package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so Xastir should look and behave as it does on a Linux PC. On Samsung DeX, Floating mode opens it as its own window beside your Android apps, and Desktop mode runs it on a full Linux desktop.
Linux apps use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. More about internet apps in Breadstick.
About Xastir
From Debian's package description
Xastir is an APRS client for X. APRS is the Automatic Position Reporting System, a system where objects report their position (usually obtained from GPS) on the air; Xastir displays this information graphically.
