curl in Breadstick

Breadstick note

curl uses Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers it too. With Device files granted, a file it saves to ~/Downloads is in Android's Downloads folder the moment it is written.

Breadstick runs Debian's own curl package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so curl should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.

Commands in the package

  • curl
  • wcurl

Type one in Breadstick's Terminal to run it.

Downloads use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. With Device files granted, a file saved to your Linux Downloads folder is in Android's Downloads too. More in the docs: The Terminal.
