httpie in Breadstick

Breadstick runs Debian's own httpie package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so httpie should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.

Commands in the package

  • httpie
  • http
  • https

Type one in Breadstick's Terminal to run it.

Downloads use Android's own network connection, and a VPN connected in Android covers them too. With Device files granted, a file saved to your Linux Downloads folder is in Android's Downloads too. More in the docs: The Terminal.

About httpie

From Debian's package description

HTTPie is a CLI HTTP utility that makes CLI interaction with HTTP-based services as human-friendly as possible.

HTTPie does so by providing an http command that allows for issuing arbitrary HTTP requests using a simple and natural syntax and displaying colorized responses.

From Debian's description of the httpie package, under that package's license.
