SQLite in Breadstick
Breadstick note
SQLite keeps each database in a single file and needs no server, so there is nothing to start by hand, which suits Breadstick, where there is no systemd. Keep a busy database in your Linux home folder, which is much faster than Android's shared folders.
Breadstick runs Debian's own sqlite3 package for ARM64, the build a Debian 13 computer with an ARM processor installs, so SQLite should behave as it does on a Linux PC. It is a command line program rather than an app with a window of its own: you run it by typing its command in Breadstick's Terminal, or in any terminal window on the Linux desktop, and it needs no Desktop or Floating session running.
Commands in the package
sqlite3
Type it in Breadstick's Terminal to start the program.
There is no systemd in Breadstick, so a database server does not start on its own: you start it by hand from the Terminal, and keep its data in your Linux home folder. Command line clients reach servers on the device or across the network. More in the docs: What Breadstick cannot do: the system itself.
About SQLite
From Debian's package description
SQLite is a C library that implements an SQL database engine. Programs that link with the SQLite library can have SQL database access without running a separate RDBMS process.
